This project was created for the 2009 Building Virtual Worlds class at the Entertainment Technology Center. For this performance piece, we used an infrared red tracking system called Playmotion and build a six string laser harp. The performer used a rope dart with an infrared light on the end of it. When they swung the light in front of the screen it's motion was detected and it generated a trailing particle effect.
